Job Summary
Perform a generalist HR Role for site based operations and support functions. Working across teams and functions delivering advice to employees and managers on policies and processes. Providing insight to management utilizing HRIS data tools and metrics. Performing effective systems administration across HR initiatives, and facilitating formal HR meetings across a variation of employment predicaments from conduct, absence, performance & flexible working. Responsible for the coordination of a thorough recruitment process, whilst also liaising with external security vetting teams in fulfilment of our security protocols. Working with the Site HR Manager to continuously improve and develop the HR function, ensuring emphasis is applied to building an engaging environment for all employees and workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Systems Administration – Time and Attendance & Employee Data Housekeeping
- Performance Review Advice – Ensuring management complete mandatory processes for PDP’s with clear HR Advice
- Support Recruitment Coordination – agency & non-agency recruitment: interview arrangement; Job advertising/posting
- Onboarding – enrolment of offer and onboarding paperwork
- Training: Dual responsibility with Site HR Manager for all training delivery inclusive of annual content and business inductions
- Support Right to work administration and checks for new and current employees
- Monitor Long Term Absence Cases & Advise Management on supporting actions
- Close Liaison with Occupational Health cases
- Support at disciplinary meetings & investigations
- Facilitate flexible work, absence mediations & capability meetings
- Assist Site HR Manager in monthly payroll submission
- Utilize HRIS tools for effective Data insight – Absence & Overtime
- Support employee representative forum meetings
- Work with Site HR Manager site managers to develop employee reward and recognition initiatives; including social days and events.
- Support in HR structuring projects
Qualifications & Skills
- CIPD HR Level 5 certificate/Diploma (or working towards) competent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word platforms
- GCSE English Language or equivalent (C or above) / GCSE Mathematics or equivalent (C or above)
- 2+ Years working within a generalist HR environment
- Evident interpersonal mediator skills
- Passionate to improve and develop the HR function

Working Hours
07:30 - 16:15: Monday-Thursday
