We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects from design through to implementation, ensuring safety and professionalism at every stage. You will be involved in client interactions, site surveys, design development, and testing, making this a varied and engaging position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys, installations, and commissioning across the UK and occasionally internationally.
  • Gather requirements and develop innovative electrical design solutions.
  • Produce and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD (training provided if needed).
  • Specify and create BOMs (Bill of Materials) to support procurement.
  • Develop PLC and HMI control software and assist in control panel testing/troubleshooting.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide on-site supervision and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is desirable (training available).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible approach to work, including willingness to travel.
  • Must be a British Citizen.
