Role Overview
We are seeking a System Architect - Chassis to lead systems development and feature delivery within the Chassis domain. This role will ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines while coordinating cross-functional tasks. You will be responsible for specifying system requirements, guiding commodity implementation, and ensuring successful feature delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and organise stakeholder requirements.
- Derive system requirements from stakeholder inputs.
- Identify diagnostic requirements for the systems.
- Oversee on-time delivery, including SADs and feature maturity.
- Allocate system requirements to elements and define interfaces.
- Drive issue resolution and develop mitigation plans.
- Direct systems engineering team workload for the programme.
- Develop logical, functional, and system architecture diagrams.
- Map system requirements to elements/components.
- Support SOTIF (ISO21448) and Cyber Security (UNECE R155) aspects.
- Utilise ASPICE methodology for system and feature development.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
Required Experience
- Extensive knowledge of automotive product development (V-Cycle) from concept to launch.
- Experience as a systems architect for embedded systems in automotive or aerospace.
- Expertise in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Proven ability to resolve complex issues within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of network protocols (CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet, WiFi).
- Familiarity with diagnostics protocols (UDS/ODX).
- Hands-on experience with Autosar software architecture and E2E communication protection.
- Proficiency in tools like Doors, Polarion, and Vector Can tools.
