Fire Suppression Engineer โ Join Our Growing Team

As a result of continued growth, weโre offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Suppression Engineer to join our team. This full-time role is primarily field-based with support from our office. We're looking for a dedicated professional with hands-on experience across a variety of fire suppression systems and a passion for high-quality service and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client sites to test and inspect fire suppression systems in line with British Standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Service, maintain, and commission systems such as FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Low and High Pressure Watermist, FirePro Aerosol, Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul), and PAFSS.
- Diagnose and resolve faults using sound electrical principles.
- Record system activations and findings using our Simpro system.
- Issue service certificates and communicate any required rectifications to senior management.
- Complete service and installation work efficiently and to high standards.
- Respond to emergency callouts as needed, including occasional overtime.
- Write comprehensive technical reports for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and a professional approach at all times.
- Represent the company positively when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with practical knowledge of a wide range of suppression systems.
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Practical, methodical approach to work.

Schedule
