Interim Director of Corporate Operations/Services

Work for a central government organisation in Central London as an Interim Director of Corporate Services (3 – 6 months, £80,000 – (phone number removed) pro rata, predominantly wfh).

The Interim Director of Corporate Services will ensure that processes are well-governed, and the working environment is compliant operationally as a good practice arm\’s length public body employer and service provider.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deputise for the Chief Executive as necessary in taking forward strategic aims and objectives, assuming responsibility for governance, management, and financial performance.
2. Be accountable for the Corporate Risk Register, its development, and the updating of risks, ensuring appropriate mitigations and actions are taken to address risks.
3. Total staff within Corporate Operations: 15
4. Line Manages Heads of Profession for Governance, ICT, Finance, Data Management/Security, Legal Services, and Customer Service.

What we look for

• Ideally Government, if not public sector experience.
• Someone with broad corporate services experience, preferably in government roles.
• Looking for someone with a strong financial management background at the executive level.
