Job Title: Work shop Pipefitter ( Local only ) Location: Aberdeen Start date: 28th April 2025 PAYE Rate: 10-12 hours per day Monday to Friday – £23.51 Per hour including holiday pay. Duration: 3-6 months Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Pipefitter to join our clients team in their workshop . The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless and carbon steel pipework ranging from 1 to 12 inches in diameter. The successful candidate will work in accordance with technical drawings, site specifications, and industry standards to ensure safe and efficient pipe systems on-site. Key Responsibilities: * Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches. * Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools. * Install and secure pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings. * Fabricate pipe spools and install to specified dimensions and tolerances. * Carry out hot and cold work on stainless and carbon steel pipework (1ൔ\”). * Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to ensure system integrity. * Work closely with welders, riggers, and other trades on-site to coordinate installation. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. * Complete daily reports and liaise with supervisors on job progress. …
