A manufacturing company based in Redditch is seeking a Project Buyer to take ownership of supplier contract negotiations and lead data-driven cost improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in aligning procurement strategy with operational goals, ensuring effective supply chain performance, and driving commercial value through strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for supplier contract negotiations
  • Plan and deliver cost reduction initiatives using data analysis and sourcing strategies
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring timely and cost-effective material supply
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement actions where needed
  • Use procurement and market data to identify opportunities and guide decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, engineering, and quality to meet production and business objectives

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment
