A Lloyd’s Broker seeks candidates with PV/Terrorism experience for an exciting new opportunity within their expanding business. You will be responsible for providing support and backup to Brokers and studying insurance proposals to make sure Brokers have the right information needed to service the client and market the business promptly. This is a multi-functional role with a wide range of experience, including Binders, Open Market placements, Line Slips or Reinsurance contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checking and QA of slips and endorsements
- Creation of MRCs and endorsements
- Calculating premiums and processing entries onto the in-house broking system
- Produce credit/debit notes, including calculating premium adjustments
- Prepare cover notes, broker insurance documents, debit notes and premium adjustments
- Maintain accurate records, including telephone conversations, work in progress, and statistical data records
- Respond to Technical queries and the processing of premiums and claims as required
- Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties
- Maintain and update diary records in Outlook and Global
- Produce cover notes, debit notes and associated documentation promptly to be checked and signed by authorised signatories and issued to the client
- Responsible for minimising the number of late signings to the Market
- Closing to bureaux and non-bureaux markets
- To keep abreast of FCA updates, including Wordings available from the Market
- Support the maintenance of the policy register and assist with the handling of enquiries from Xchanging regarding policy matters
KEY SKILLS
The client is seeking someone who has experience within PV/Terrorism preferred but other Non Marine experience will be considered. You should possess experience in handling and drafting Market Reform Contracts & Endorsements and servicing clients and Brokers with life cycle of risks. The ideal candidate will be organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate at all levels.
SALARY £40,000 - £65,000 DoE with excellent benefits and attractive bonus potential
HYBRID WORKING
Full Time Hybrid 3 days office based in City of London plus 2 days remote working
