Due to increasing requirements from our UK Power Networks LPN (London) and SPN (Southern) client, we are actively seeking experienced Electricians to join our alliance. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in realising our vision of delivering smarter, greener infrastructure to the highest standards. You will be working over a wide region of Southern England including Kent, Sussex, and London.
Here are some of the key activities you will be involved in:
- Installation of metal containment systems, such as Ladder Rack, Cable Tray, Trunking, Lighting Trunking, Conduit, and associated fixings, including uni-strut and threaded rod, within new or existing substations to meet DNO/IDNO specifications.
- Installation and termination of distribution equipment, such as LVAC panels and distribution boards.
- Installation and termination of secondary equipment, including commando sockets, isolators, lights, switches, and standard sockets.
- Pulling, dressing, and glanding various sizes of steel-wired armoured cables.
- Conducting inspection and testing (C&G 2396 qualification would be beneficial).
- Assisting HV Fitters/Wiremen on site.
