We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electronic Repair Technician to join a growing engineering and production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronic assembly, diagnostics, and repair—particularly at the PCB level. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies and components to a high standard. Supervisory experience is desirable, as there may be opportunities to support and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and test electronic components, PCBs, and full product assemblies
  • Carry out fault-finding to component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
  • Perform PCB repairs, including component removal, rework, and surface mount soldering
  • Assemble and wire electrical and electronic units according to engineering drawings and technical instructions
  • Complete rework and upgrades on returned or defective units
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, tests, and part replacements
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out to company and industry quality standards
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the repair process
