- Strategic: In conjunction with the Leadership Team, develop a medium and long-term strategy for IT development and growth in all school areas and develop a School Development Plan for IT.
- Develop and implement a technical strategy and associated system architecture that meets the needs of current IT usage and future development needs under the medium and long-term IT strategies.
- Manage the IT budget in line with management plans and IT strategies and in consultation with the leadership team.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to work flexibly, sometimes outside of regular core hours, to ensure the Schools objectives are supported and that continuity of IT services are maintained.
- Provide comprehensive management information and reports regarding service trends and incident analysis using industry-standard metrics.
- Ensure an asset register is maintained and includes hardware refresh plan for all assets under the IT department's remit.
