Controls System Design Engineer - Siemens TIA

Are you a Controls System Design Engineer – Siemens TIA seeking a new position in Godalming, Surrey? My client is a large company in the Gas industry and specialise in the design, engineering and delivery of turnkey projects. My client is looking for a driven, Controls Engineer – PLC Programming who holds good professional experience with Siemen TIA and with the design and implementation of HMI or SCADA based systems. The Controls System Design Engineer – Siemens TIA , Godalming, Surrey, will have a blend of the following skill and experience and PLC Programming Requirements: – Experience of using Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7. – Experience of programming using LADDER and SCL in a live production environment (2+ Years). – Familiar with the concept of Object-Oriented design and using FB instances to prevent repetition of code. – Able to demonstrate experience of commissioning PLC code in a live production environment. – Understand or has implemented comms to external devices using MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP, PUT/GET, TSEND/TRCV & OPC UA. – (Optional) Experience with Siemens VSD Implementation in TIA Portal and Telegram usage.
