Are you an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter looking for a new challenge with a reputable and fast-growing building services provider? This mobile role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of prestigious commercial sites within the M25 area, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical pipework systems. You’ll be joining a skilled and professional team where your expertise will be valued, your development supported, and your hard work rewarded.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical works at various client sites as directed by the Project Manager
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timescales and to a high standard
- Supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractor management
- Set up sites, coordinate works, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues
- Order materials efficiently to minimise wastage and downtime
- Maintain a professional company image at all times while representing the business on-site
- Complete and upload all relevant job documentation to the CAFM system
- Prepare thorough and site-specific Risk Assessments as required
- Provide guidance and mentoring to apprentices within the department
- Communicate and liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders professionally
Key Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills across all levels – internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet
- Fully conversant with all types of commercial pipefitting techniques
- Formal qualifications in a relevant mechanical or plumbing discipline (NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds)
- Comfortable working within live, client-occupied environments
- Clean UK driving licence is essential
