Shirley Parsons has exclusively partnered with an established consultancy that has an opening for a Health and Safety Consultant. The successful candidate will cover client sites in Wiltshire and surrounding areas, providing Health and Safety services to a range of clients, primarily in the Education sector. This field-based role is ideal for candidates residing in Wiltshire, with the flexibility to commit to regional travel.
The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Delivering Health and Safety services to clients including Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, auditing, reporting, and training.
- Acting as the Competent Person on behalf of the company for your client portfolio.
- Ensuring all client matters are progressed smoothly and respond to telephone and email queries in a timely fashion.
- Generating and communicating ideas for improvement in service to clients to the Regional Manager.
The ideal Health and Safety Consultant requires:
- Health and Safety experience in Consultancy and/or Education, ideally qualified to conduct Fire Risk Assessments.
- Preferably a diploma or degree level Health and Safety qualification.
- Membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is essential.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships.
