The Ideal Candidate
Are you currently working a manual labour role in horticulture but ideally looking to move into a more customer facing role while still holding on to your horticulture knowledge? Do you sometimes see yourself wishing for your weekends back? If this sounds like you I encourage you to read on. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for horticulture and is looking at potentially moving into a sales role. You will have a drive to proactively reach out to existing and potential wholesale/landscaping clients via phone, email and face-to-face meetings.
About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys sales but also has a genuine interest in plants and gardening. While the role is mainly office-based, there may be occasions where you'll be asked to assist on the nursery - so a hands-on attitude is a plus! The primary focus of this role will be selling a range of plants to wholesale nurseries and landscaping businesses, predominantly over the phone. You will be responsible for building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
