My client are looking for a paralegal for a 12 month contract extendable by a year for the right person. Working in industry, my client's in-house legal team focuses on providing innovative IP-based services to a sophisticated customer base of multinational businesses. The Legal Department’s goal is to be a strategic partner to the business by providing high quality legal advice and counsel. They work in close partnership by ensuring a thorough understanding of our client’s objectives and issues, allowing us to provide sound legal advice and solutions.
As the legal support function for the business, they are looking for a paralegal with a strong interest in the law and the technology/telecommunications sector, to take up an essential position based in London providing support to a small team of 4 lawyers in the legal support function.
Responsibilities:The role will involve supporting the lawyers for the company (based in London, New York and Hong Kong) but will also require interaction with the group’s lawyers, paralegals and other legal personnel across the globe, as well as with Outside Counsel. Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Researching and assisting with legal queries concerning a range of topics, including commercial contracts, privacy, telecoms regulatory and employment.
