Are you a Quality Advisor seeking a new role? A water sector leading solutions provider is seeking to appoint an experienced Quality Advisor to join their SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) team, supporting construction activities within the Severn Trent Water framework.

The Quality Advisor role will provide on-site and remote quality support across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and statutory regulations. You will also play a critical role in the delivery and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver the internal audit programme in collaboration with the Regional Quality Lead.
  • Ensure all quality-related documentation is completed, maintained, and retained in accordance with company procedures, legal requirements, and client expectations.
  • Monitor and uphold installation quality standards across project sites, aligned with both the company and client specifications.
  • Contribute to the management and development of the Integrated Management System (IMS), promoting a lean and process-driven approach.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead quality investigations, ensuring the implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of quality-related training materials and internal communications.
  • Provide consistent and informed quality guidance across all functions of the business.
  • Foster a proactive quality culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including industry networking and training, to remain abreast of emerging standards and best practices.
  • Represent the company and our clients in a professional and constructive manner at all times.
  • Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all interactions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Quality Advisor or equivalent role within a construction environment.
  • Internal QMS Auditor certification (IRCA or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the Severn Trent Water region.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and site delivery processes.
  • Experience in the water and/or wastewater industry is desirable.
  • EUSR SHEA Water card would be advantageous.
  • Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (e.g. PCQI) is desirable.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification would be advantageous.
