A Legal Document Automation Manager opportunity has come up with a London based Law Firm to join their team working on Legal Tech innovation.
You will be joining a team focused on firm-wide cutting edge innovation within the Legal Tech space and will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in Legal Document Automation to bring about pioneering change in the company. This is an opportunity for someone who is curious about innovation in legal tech.
You will be responsible for the overall Document Automation strategy and have the freedom to explore and recommend new ways of optimising Document Automation using technology (e.g. what new platforms to integrate with, giving input on building more holistic solutions etc.).
The firm is embracing GenAI and you will have the opportunity to get involved in related projects, specifically around the impact on Legal Document Automation. You will regularly be presenting back on what GenAI means for Document Automation and making recommendations to ensure the firm is taking advantage of tech innovation.
In addition to working on internal Legal Document Automation projects, you will own the external relationships with Document Automation third parties for software and service provision. You will have responsibility for a Document Automation developer, so any experience or interest in leadership would be required (this role is a hands-on role in a lean innovation team, so you should also be comfortable with Document Automation development yourself, e.g. developing new templates, managing change requests etc.).
Skills required for the Legal Document Automation Manager opportunity:
- Expertise in development of Legal Document Automation products (e.g. HotDocs, Contract Express or similar)
- Passion for bringing about innovation in legal tech processes, specifically as it relates to Document Automation
- Experience of working on IT innovation projects in Legal Tech, in a professional services environment
This is a role with a global remit and offers remote working (with the expectation to be in London 1 day/month to engage with stakeholders, the broader innovation team and your direct report, the Document Automation Developer).
You will be joining an employee friendly organisation that has a strong retention rate of its employees because of their values and practices as well as the access to exciting work.
