Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Location: Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Our client is a respected and growing engineering services provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, and residential developments. With a focus on technical excellence, client satisfaction, and professional integrity, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of mechanical installations and engineering projects in the North West. As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction through to delivery and final handover. You’ll manage budgets, teams, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Lead mechanical project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring targets are met on programme, cost, and quality. Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Liaise with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders to develop project scopes, technical solutions, and delivery plans. Prepare and manage project documentation, including RAMS, cost reports, risk registers, and programme updates. Monitor project performance, carry out site inspections, and resolve technical or logistical issues as needed. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and support their professional development. Proven experience managing mechanical engineering projects, ideally within the building services or construction sector. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, heating, etc.). Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills. Experience working with project management software and MS Office. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (desirable). HND/HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline. Competitive salary between £50,000 – £55,000 per annum, based on experience. Company vehicle or car allowance.
