Our Client is one of the UK's largest Importers and Distributors in their sector within the Fruit Industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an excellent opportunity for a QA Assistant to join the business in a key Quality Assurance role. Reporting to the QA Manager, the position of QA Assistant will join a dedicated team to ensure product quality and product labelling is accurate, working to resolve any issues that do arise in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development of new packing processes and quality management procedures
- Work with production colleagues to ensure all procedures are being adhered to
- Sample collection and shelf life testing, completing accurate paperwork
- Manage Traceability documentation and Corrective Action Requests
- Work to customer specifications and packing requirements
