ITS Recruitment is looking for a talented individual to join one of our esteemed clients in managing procurement for high-quality residential developments across the Home Counties and South East. Role Overview As a Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services, supporting the delivery of high-end housing projects. Working closely with the construction and commercial teams, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure all procurement activities align with project schedules and budgets. Key Responsibilities * Source and procure materials and services required for residential construction projects. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value while maintaining quality. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. * Monitor stock levels and coordinate with site teams to ensure timely deliveries. * Work collaboratively with project managers and estimators to ensure procurement aligns with project specifications and timelines. * Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and supplier performance. * Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement within the supply chain. About You * Proven experience as a Buyer within the residential construction or housebuilding industry. * Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build positive supplier relationships. * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Proficient in using procurement and construction management software. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. * A proactive, problem-solving approach to procurement challenges.
