As the Senior Director of Fitness Center Operations, you will lead two Regional Directors overseeing international Health and Wellness professionals across Asia and Europe, delivering a premier onsite Corporate Wellness experience for a global Fortune 100 client. In this role, you will manage relationships with multiple client leaders, ensuring alignment on goals and delivering exceptional service. Partnering with the Exos cross functional teams and client leaders, you will drive operational excellence, execute strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performance culture. With a player-coach mindset, you will guide and support Regional Directors, identify opportunities for business development, and ensure the successful scaling of operations. This dynamic role is ideal for a seasoned leader passionate about driving efficiency, cultivating collaboration, and building an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and inspire an international team located in Asia and Europe. Partner with cross-functional departments within Exos and our client to implement business strategies, promote operational efficiency, and drive team success.
- Coach and mentor our Regional Directors that oversee our APAC & EMEA team members to enhance performance, manage talent, and improve retention.
- Establish performance management systems, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing coaching for staff development.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Accounts to define and execute the operational strategy.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals, manage performance, and ensure continuous growth.
- Oversee the annual operating planning process and ensure organizational goals align with short- and long-term objectives.
Operational Management:
- The Senior Director will own our client relationship and function as the single point of contact regarding operations in the EMEA and APAC regions.
- Analyze internal operations, identify areas for process improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
- Monitor performance with key metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Client & Partner Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, overseeing successful account management and business growth.
- Collaborate with leaders from various departments within Exos and our client teams to drive initiatives, monitor performance, and identify areas of optimization.
- Ensure smooth communication across all teams, enabling the organization to execute effectively on goals and objectives.
Financial Oversight & Budgeting:
- Oversee the budgeting process, manage expenses, and ensure the company achieves its growth and profitability targets.
- Responsible for monthly billing cycles and aligning financial resources with the organization’s goals.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports on business performance, including current and forecasted results.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and achieve goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years in executive leadership roles, with a focus on operational management and business development in industries such as Fitness, Health & Wellness, Retail or Hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills, integrity, and the ability to inspire and guide teams toward achieving business objectives.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and strategic planning.
- Ability to diagnose operational challenges quickly and devise effective solutions.
- International business experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Construction Project Management/Contracting is a plus.
