We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong M&E maintenance understanding to work for one of the UK’s largest maintenance service providers located at a prestigious commercial facility in Epsom. You will need to have a strong understanding of running a modern multi-storey commercial maintenance contract from the perspective of a service provider. The contract has been mobilised, the maintenance service provider has been appointed for a year now and there is already on board a well-established management team.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- 75% of the job is on the tools and involved with the delivery of the maintenance contract.
- Managing the activities of the PPM regime and updates to the reactive calls.
- Ensuring that all statutory building compliance is upheld.
- Escorting the visiting contractors and the engineering services.
- Responsible for the actioning RAMS (with admin support).
- Providing technical support to the engineering team.
- Carrying out additional small works projects.
About You as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Fully Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with a strong understanding of HVAC Hard Services.
- Good working experience of BMS and Delmatic and CAFM systems.
- Desire to become AP at some time in the future.
- Experienced in maintenance of large-scale building services applications.
- Experienced with large AHU and FCU systems would be desirable.
- Desire to progress in your career.
This is a busy commercial office facility and there is a huge amount of overtime available. You will have the support of a dedicated contract admin support and will be supported by the Account Manager for the contract who is a qualified Electrician off the tools. Full portfolio management and administrative support. The hours are Mon-Fri 07:00–16:00 or 09:00-18:00.
