My client is a Top 20 Accountancy firm and they are seeking a Tax Advisory Manager to join their office in Northampton.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working within the Tax team, Client Service department, and the wider team to grow the tax advisory offering.
  • Travelling to other offices to visit the internal team to develop their advisory offering.
  • Spotting opportunities within the team and helping develop junior staff.
  • Managing own flow of work and delegating appropriately.
  • Implementation of projects in support of Tax Directors.
  • Responding to internal tax queries from other departments.
  • Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Advisory experience.
  • Mixed tax experience with a steer to corporate tax.
  • ACA / CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Have a solid advisory background within practice.
  • Previous client-facing experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to learn and develop own knowledge.
  • Good communication skills.
