Performance Objective
To sell screw-based machinery and associated equipment. Converting enquiries to equipment propositions to machinery sales.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- This is primarily an office-based role with occasional site visits to customers.
- Receiving enquiries, equipment design proposition, quote offer to customer.
- Undertake detailed diligence on enquiries; liaise with customer.
- Follow up all quotations; support, guide and assist customers.
- Advising customers on how best to use our equipment.
- Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the value of buying our equipment, and how it will improve plant performance.
- Collaborate with design, production, and engineering teams.
Person Requirements
- Working knowledge of engineering mathematics and practical engineering.
- Qualification - Degree in engineering or other related science.
- Experience 10+ years in machinery design including ATEX and safety directives.
- A solid technical background.
- Sound judgement and good business sense.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
