Our client is a large independent accountancy firm seeking an Advisory Tax Specialist for a Mixed Tax role working directly with partners on a diverse range of work for HNW individuals, owner-managers, and their businesses.
The ideal candidate will likely be at Manager level or above and hold relevant professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, ICAS, or be a former Inspector of Taxes.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the work of more junior staff
- Advising clients on IHT and CGT
- Providing comprehensive advice to HNW individuals and families
- Tax structuring and due diligence around business lifecycle events such as sales, MBOs, and joint ventures
- Advising on tax-efficient remuneration planning
- Assisting families in passing businesses to the next generation
- Handling queries from HMRC
- Building long-term client relationships and networking with other professionals
- Involvement in pitches for new work
- Management responsibilities, including some travel to other offices
Flexible working arrangements including hybrid, part-time, and career progression opportunities are available.
