Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicles for nationwide deliveries and collections
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading, unloading, and safe transportation of goods
- Adhere to all DVSA regulations, tachograph laws, and Working Time Directive
- Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and logbooks
- Plan routes efficiently and adapt to traffic or road conditions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Have previous HGV Class 1 experience
- Wagon and drag experience (desirable)
- Be dynamic and have a professional approach
- Demonstrate a commitment to developing your own knowledge and abilities
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
