We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst within the Ascenian business, a Clinigen Company. Ascenian is a global research and consulting partnership that helps life sciences companies worldwide develop, capture, and communicate the clinical and economic evidence needed to demonstrate the value of new treatments to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies and payers.
Our services leverage capabilities in clinical knowledge, HTA and payer process and methodology, business and strategy, price and reimbursement, health economics, and real-world evidence.
As our newly appointed Senior Business Analyst, you will operate within the Global Market Access Consulting practice, providing clients with strategic recommendations on product pipeline management.
The practice has a network of approximately 700 high-level payers and advisers across 45 markets and has completed over 45 global projects in five years.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be part of our Pricing, Reimbursement, and HEOR team, supporting project leaders with tasks such as recruitment and presentation framework development. You will be key in project delivery, managing phases, developing discussion guides, conducting qualitative interviews, analyzing results, and supporting final presentations.
- Manage projects and identify key milestones
- Conduct interviews and secondary research
- Organize and recruit payer decision-makers
- Liaise with decision-makers to schedule interviews
- Support literature reviews as needed
- Keep team members updated on tasks
- Update clients on interview progress
- Take minutes during meetings
- Contribute to proposal writing and presentation development
- Develop discussion guides and final presentations
- Present parts of final deliverables to clients
- Train new staff on database development
- Develop case studies and conduct informal training
- Identify and recruit new payers for our network
- Contribute to analysis and presentation development
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD in relevant disciplines (science, economics, health policy)
- Experience or knowledge in market access and a desire to work in this area
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in hybrid and remote team settings
- Good presentation skills
- Organized, able to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and client interaction confidence
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
