Permanent, Full Time. Saxonwood Court is home to 36 people and provides dementia friendly, residential care in sunny Battle, East Sussex. We are now seeking a Residential Scheme Manager to assist the Regional Manager with delivering services across a locality with a real emphasis on ensuring that services are safe, high quality and represent value for money.
In doing so, you will drive our Ageing Well agenda, ensuring the delivery of safe and vibrant environments, that are housing management compliant, and places older people want to be. In this key position, you will oversee the general building management by dealing with specifications for major works, obtaining tenders, circulation of notices and supporting documents, instructing contractors and supervising certain works.
You will deliver outstanding customer service by communicating information clearly and effectively which supports individuals to both sustain their lease/tenancy and remain independent in their own home. You will routinely carry out health & safety, fire safety and warden call system checks across 32 properties, ensuring both compliance and achievement of consistently high service standards, and identify and manage risk including safeguarding, taking accountability for ensuring that appropriate actions are taken and controls are in place to manage the risk.
