Great opportunity to work as a PCV Coach Driver for our prestigious client based in Boston. Staffline is seeking PCV coach drivers for ongoing work with Driving Plus Ltd/Staffline.

The rates of pay are:

  • Day Shift £16.00 per hour
  • Night shift £17.00 per hour

Overtime is available after working 38 hours and paid at:

  • £20.00 per hour

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in scheduling, with weekend work being a key requirement. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate!

Your Time at Work

You will be responsible for transporting agency workers to and from their work sites, with a strong emphasis on punctuality and safety. As a Coach Driver, you must demonstrate the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes with confidence and maintain a calm and professional demeanour in challenging situations. A smart appearance and excellent customer service skills are essential to ensuring a positive experience for passengers. You must have excellent communication skills, as you will be required to provide clear and accurate information to passengers, as well as relay relevant details to the transport team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer-facing skills and maintain a smart, professional appearance, as you will be the first point of contact for passengers. Reliability is essential in this role, as punctuality is critical to ensuring passengers reach their destinations on time. A positive, approachable attitude and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally are also key attributes for success in this role.

As a Coach Driver, you must have:

  • A valid Category D licence (we may also consider Category D1 for a part-time position)
  • A valid PCV licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
  • A valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card
