We are working with a main civil contractor, who have tasked us with recruiting highways/fibre/road reinstatement specialists to join their delivery team based in Middlesex. They are a family-run business with over 25 years' experience as an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services. They are dedicated to becoming the preferred choice in their field by adding value to business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Reinstatement Supervisor to join their skilled and friendly team, working on their Water Maintenance contract, based out of their office in Southall.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Allocate jobs to maximise production and monitor quality of work in progress.
  • Maintain a good working relationship and close liaison with our client and members of the public.
  • Complete Defect and Interim reports.
  • Handle health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Manage company vehicles, plant, and equipment.
  • Deal with customer care issues promptly.
  • Complete joint site measures with the client.
  • Monitor driving performance and vehicle checks.
  • Ensure high standards of quality of work are maintained from the reinstatement teams.
  • Complete site audits.
  • Order materials for reinstatement teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of reinstatement and managing teams is essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Works Management Systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Nationally recognised safety qualification for the construction industry (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH - preferable).
  • NRSWA Supervisor Qualification (Essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday between the hours of 6 am and 4 pm, plus overtime.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Ability to commute/relocate: Hayes: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
