The role is a blend of completing ledger as well as assisting with month end duties. You will be required to work closely with the financial controller and assist with the end-to-end finance process.
Client Details: My client is a leading global manufacturer and wholesaler known for producing a wide range of vehicles. Their UK office is looking for an Accountant to join initially on an interim basis, with an opportunity to become a permanent member.
Description:
- Responsibility of chasing all aged debt and providing commentary weekly and monthly
- Responsibility of chasing and allocating Government & Defence receipt
- Ensuring all supplier accounts are reconciled and all payments are allocated
- Setting up new supplier accounts
- Barclaycard statement - Collate and code invoices and submit for processing
- Inventory Management
- Reconcile variances
- Post Corrections to stock
- Assist in preparation of month end and year end accounts
- Assist in the preparation of month end schedules and reports
- VAT Returns
- Intrastat Return
Profile:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Advanced Excel skills are required for this role and are essential
