We are looking for an Apprentice Marketing Assistant with experience of using social media channels and some graphic design skills to join our well-established business. As part of this role, you will complete a multi-channel marketer apprenticeship and gain invaluable experience and opportunities within a supportive and aspirational workplace.

We are looking for someone who is creative and has a passion for marketing and design. Qualifications in marketing or graphic design are desirable.

The main responsibilities for the Marketing Assistant (Apprentice) role are as follows. In most cases, training, guidance, and ongoing mentoring with be provided:
Digital Marketing Support:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across
various platforms.
· Assist in creating engaging content for websites, social media channels, email newsletters, and other digital channels.
· Monitor digital marketing engagement to optimise campaigns and identify areas for
improvement.
· Co-ordinate photography and videography across all divisions, including scheduling and using company camera to shoot footage.
Social Media Management:
· Manage and maintain social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
· Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand
promotion and audience engagement.
Graphic Design:
· Utilise graphic design software to create visually appealing assets for online and offline marketing materials, including banners, social media posts, and promotional materials.
· Ensure brand consistency across all design elements and marketing collateral.
Event Coordination:
· Assist in planning, organising, and executing marketing events, including trade shows,
conferences, and product launches.
· Coordinate stand setup, signage and promotional materials.
· Provide on-site support during events.
Administration
· Support the Head of Marketing with general administrative tasks within the marketing
department and across other departments within the business as and when required.
· Updating contacts on various digital platforms.
· Sorting and cleansing data.
· Preparing presentation slides and taking notes during meetings.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Marketing Assistant (Apprenticeship) role is someone who:
· Has a keen interest in digital marketing and is familiar with online platforms and channels.
· Has an eye for graphic design and is creative.
· Has experience of using social media for personal use or business purposes, including content creation and community management.
· Has experience of using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
· Is confident and can help organise events and assist with logistics and planning effectively.
· Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
· Good organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines effectively.
· Task-driven mindset and can problem-solve
· A good team player and is able to work effectively in a busy department and office environment.
This is an apprenticeship position.
Hours
Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours/week)
Qualification – Level 3 Multi Channel Marketer Apprenticeship (approx. 18 months to complete)
You will be paid at the rate of £7.55/hour (apprenticeship min wage is currently £6.40/hour) for the first 12 months of your apprenticeship after which your wage will rise in line with at least NMW
