A well-established engineering company seeks an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10:30-21:00

The Role

  • Sets up and operates CNC mills per approved drawings, including tool offsets and compensation.
  • Reviews CAD designs, determines tolerances, and performs necessary calculations.
  • Verifies machine settings with test runs, ensuring strict adherence to specifications.
  • Monitors operations, troubleshoots issues, and replaces worn tools.
  • Performs additional tasks such as de-burring, tapping, and cleaning parts.
  • Maintains quality, safety, and production schedules, updating records and KIPS as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and management, providing support to CNC operators.
  • Keeps workspaces clean and performs preventive maintenance.

The Candidate

  • Experienced in CNC mill setup and operation.
  • Skilled in G-code controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, etc.).
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Experience with small-batch work is preferred.
