HGV Class 1 Driver

About the role Join us as an HGV Class 1 Driver and you will be the face of Greggs on the road, making sure that our tasty products are delivered to our supply sites and distribution centres, where we make and pack the nation\’s much loved Greggs products. You\’ll be driving one of our modern fleet of refrigerated HGVs, fitted with the latest technology and safety features, such as telematics and vehicle cameras. This is a physical role as you\’ll carry out multi-drop deliveries of chilled, frozen and ambient goods to our shops daily, making sure that all safety checks have been met. You\’ll be trained in key control as some deliveries will be made when shops are closed. You will be contracted to work 43.75 hours per week, on a 5 on 3 off day shift rota. Start times between 13:00-15:00 £16.88 per hour plus various premium payments.
