Job Description
Finance Manager – Full or Part Time
ÂŁ60k FTE + Employee Ownership Profit Share | Hybrid | Super FlexibleNot every finance role is about long hours, relentless pressure, and red tape.
This one’s different.
You’ll be joining an employee-owned, B Corp certified SME where the culture is as important as the numbers. It’s a close-knit, social team who’ve built a hugely successful business, but without losing the down-to-earth, flexible feel of a small company.
The role exists because someone in the team is moving towards retirement, so the FD is looking for a safe pair of hands to help take things forward. You’ll work closely with them day-to-day — they’re approachable, straight-talking, and you’ll find yourself trusted quickly.
Hours are flexible, genuinely flexible. Core hours are 10–4, but school runs, part-time patterns, or finishing at 4pm are all on the table. Whether you want full-time or reduced hours, they’re open. You’ll be based in the office 2–3 days a week, with the rest from home — very much a culture of “getting the job done” rather than clock-watching.
Day-to-day, it’s a broad, hands-on Finance Manager role:
- Management accounts and year-end accounts.
- Payroll, invoicing and supplier payments
- Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management.
- Keeping controls tight while also improving systems and reporting.
- Providing proactive financial insight to help leadership make good decisions.
It’s the sort of role where you’ll be across everything — plenty of variety, and you’ll see the impact of your work straight away.
In return you’ll get:
- c.ÂŁ60k FTE salary.
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays (plus a week off at Christmas).
- 5% pension.
- Employee ownership profit share.
It’s a rare chance to join a business that’s successful, values-driven, and built around people — while still giving you the balance and flexibility that most employers only talk about.
