What you’ll do:
- Team Leadership & People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Onboarding KYC Executives (usually 5-7 team members), fostering a high performance culture.
- KYC Compliance & Process Oversight: Ensuring adherence from the team and keeping up to date with any regulatory changes, escalating high risk cases where necessary.
- Performance & SLA Management: Track and manage team productivity to ensure SLAs and onboarding targets are consistently met.
- Training & Upskilling: Provide ongoing coaching and training on KYC best practices, policies, and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between the Onboarding, Risk, Compliance, and Sales teams.
- Operational Planning & Resource Allocation: Plan and schedule resources to ensure adequate coverage based on business demand.
- Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and client experience.
What you’ll bring:
- ICA Qualification in AML/KYC or equivalent work experience.
- Experience of leading teams in running first line operations.
- Solid knowledge in AML/KYC - customer and enhanced due diligence, sanctions, PEP, Adverse media and Financial Crime related screening.
- Experience in managing bespoke high net worth relationships.
- Experience of utilising and optimising Salesforce to support managing a team.
- Significant experience of case management and handling customer queries/complaints with patience and in a personalised, friendly way.
- Confident in your KYC/AML experience, approving applications and screening tools such as Comply Advantage, Lexis Nexis, World-Check, GBG or similar.
