Senior Site Manager Location: Peterborough Salary: Up to £75,000 (All-Inclusive Package) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Ridgeway & Co are working in partnership with one of the UK’s most respected Tier 1 main contractors — a business widely recognised for delivering complex, high-value projects across the public, commercial, and education sectors. With a strong presence across the East of England, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior operational role with a contractor that invests in its people, offers genuine career progression, and consistently delivers projects ranging between £10 million and £50 million. Role Overview: * Take full site responsibility for a new-build or refurbishment project from start to finish * Lead all day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget * Manage subcontractors, direct labour, site logistics, and quality control * Liaise with project and commercial teams, clients, and stakeholders to drive performance * Champion health & safety best practices across the site What We\’re Looking For: * Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager with a main contractor * Background in delivering public sector or commercial projects (education, healthcare, civic buildings etc.) * Excellent leadership, communication, and programme management skills * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid qualifications essential Apply now or reach out to Ridgeway & Co for a confidential discussion.
