Our client is a leading UK organization committed to excellence and innovation in their sector. They are seeking an experienced Test Services Manager to lead their IT test team.
Location: Primarily remote with occasional visits to their London office (Chancery Lane)
The Test Services Manager will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Test/QA team
- Drive efficient delivery of change through effective testing practices
- Implement both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Drive continuous improvement including test automation
- Implement "Shift Left" practices and quality-focused culture
- Manage testing risks, resources, and supplier relationships
- Define and implement standard QA processes
The Test Services Manager will have:
- Experience leading multidisciplinary test teams
- Proven ability to implement testing standards and frameworks
- Extensive hands-on testing experience
- Experience with various testing cycles and methodologies
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- At least 5 years in testing roles and 5 years managing test functions
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall approaches
- Strong stakeholder management and budgeting skills
This role reports to the Head of IT Operations with 3 direct reports plus external contractors when needed. Our client offers generous benefits, career development opportunities, and a remote-first working environment. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
