Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Support the Head of Commercial sales in the development and execution of an annual bespoke Sell in / Sell out strategy for each retailer. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key national accounts. Proactively identify and suggest tailor made action plans to reach the sell in yearly targets. Influence both retailer and brand initiatives to creatively deliver the growth strategy. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profit. Work closely with Marketing & Finance teams to ensure business planning and accounting is accurate.
- Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and other stakeholders. Utilise data to inform decision-making and strategy development. Prepare tools and data to support the bi-annual budget process. Responsible for the pricing (CPI's) process for UK & ROI retailers, aligning with the Global Finance team on the production of communication materials and implementation with retailers.
- Forecasting: Manage the forecasting process to ensure accurate stock levels to achieve company annual sales forecasts. Act as the primary point of contact between the market and central operations teams. Lead monthly Business Operations conversations to align forecasts and availability for the market. Collaborate with Business Operations and Logistics teams to optimise inventory management and availability. Monitor and adjust forecasts based on market trends and sales performance. Measure the forecasts ramifications on turnover, in close collaboration with Finance, Retail and Marketing. Work closely with the Commercial Assistant to ensure alignment throughout the supply chain process.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of national sales strategies and objectives. Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input based on market insights. Implement and monitor strategic initiatives to achieve business goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the Beauty sector ideally with Boots & John Lewis advantageous.
- Familiarity with forecasting and inventory management advantageous.
