Job Title: Interim Head of Asset Management Location: South England Contract: Interim (12-month contract) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Head of Asset Management to lead and manage the development, implementation, and ongoing review of the Council’s Asset Management Strategy. This pivotal role will cover both the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and general stock, with the aim of maximising the effectiveness of our Council Housing and assets to ensure we provide high-quality homes for our residents while maintaining economic sustainability. As the Interim Head of Asset Management, you will take responsibility for understanding the condition of stock, demand, and future maintenance needs. Your strategic insights will help inform budget setting and key decisions regarding the HRA portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, investment, remodelling, and changes of use of assets. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, specifically the Safety and Quality Standard, Consumer Standard, and Decent Homes requirements.
