MPI have a requirement for a Sales Director to work on site at East Midlands Airport. This is a temporary role to start with a view it may become permanent for the right person.
Hours: 40 hours a week - (a degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)
Rate of pay: Dependant on experience to be discussed on application
Summary of Position: Reporting to the MD, the Sales Director is to identify new business opportunities within the UK and European markets, develop and maintain existing client relationships contributing towards the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Heads up the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Commercial department, while maintaining focus on the Company’s strategic goals.
- Initiate an action plan to identify, target and secure new business for the Company.
- Analyse statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Develop, maintain and improve business relations with existing clients.
- Develop a strategic marketing plan for the Company.
- Co-ordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilising information for business improvement.
- Proactively develop and improve products and services.
- Promoting the Clients narrow body aircraft MRO at EMA.
Requirements:
- Management degree preferred
- Proven sales history in Aviation
- Must have good understanding of airline maintenance requirements to drive a growing business
- Good knowledge of costing process
- Knowledge of MRO structure and commercial contracts
- Excellent and engaging communication skills
- Ability to form effective relationships, manage and drive business performance
