The Senior Client Platform Engineer for the Business Technology Team (IT) will be responsible for managing projects, deliverables, and operational excellence across the organization. This individual will partner with core partners; Security, Compliance, Legal, and Finance, around a number of key initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing and scaling our Windows fleet as well as contributing to broader Client Engineering projects (macOS, Linux, MDM, Oomnitza). This Engineer will package, script, and deploy software and updates to the business while maintaining related support documentation and reporting. This person will work closely with the operations/support team, enabling their success while also providing mentorship through growth opportunities.
In this role, you’ll:
- Own projects end to end and work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage and maintain client configuration and security compliance standards
- Manage an up-to-date operating system update instance for both Windows and macOS
- Design, build, document and support ongoing automation in all endpoint deployments
- Automate application and settings distribution to maintain consistency across the fleet
- Maintain documentation including policies, processes, playbooks, and technical standards
- Build related reporting around software, configurations, and compliance measures
- Perform discovery and testing, oversee and manage pilot testing
- Contribute to the positive user experience shared across BizTech
- Mentor and elevate other members of the BizTech team (Ops and Eng)
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Expertise in endpoint technologies for Windows and MacOS
- Demonstrated success while working with MDM servers, macOS, JAMF, and MDM tools
- Previous experience with packaging and software deployment
- Previous experience working at both Enterprise environments and small startups
- Working knowledge of scripting languages
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Deeply empathetic to user experience
Nice to have experience:
- Background in FinTech or Crypto is great, but not required
- Previous experience working with IDPs (Okta)
- Experience with Open Source solutions
- Experience or willingness to code
