London, England, United Kingdom Software and Services Add to Favorites Senior Engineering Program Manager (EPM), Apple Cloud Infrastructure Description Apple Cloud Infrastructure team, as part of the Apple Services Engineering team, is seeking an extraordinary engineering program manager (EPM) that can help our storage team deliver innovative product solutions that will shape the future of large scale infrastructure at Apple. We are building and supporting critical infrastructural systems and frameworks which provide and support services in storage areas like Backup, Distributed file system, and Object storage for Apple Cloud Infrastructure, which is the platform upon which many iCloud applications and other backend systems at Apple are built; they have huge scale. You\’ll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to provide them with groundbreaking infrastructure for Storage that operates at substantial scale and uses open source technologies along with proprietary systems. We\’re a fast-paced organization with ambitious goals, a large user base, and the autonomy to build the future of Compute and Storage infrastructure for all of Apple. Teams across Apple rely on us for infrastructure that helps them build services that scale globally, are highly available, and \”just work.” We listen to different perspectives, help surface innovative ideas, and drive decisions that move us forward. You\’ll need a strong background in program and project management complemented by your technical abilities. Occasional travel required. Minimum Qualifications Industry experience in software development project management in Infrastructure domains, preferably storage. Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional organizational, project management, and technical acumen. Experience managing Cloud and Infrastructure projects. Past experience with containers/storage areas in Infrastructure is a plus. Agile project experience with evidence and able to demonstrate knowledge. SCRUM background and/or played the role of a Scrum Master is plus. Experience at prioritizing features, and technical road maps. Proficiency and experience in delivering large scale infrastructure projects. Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous end to end infrastructure, technical projects and stakeholder community comprising of various engineering teams and their partners. Experience at end to end project delivery; building roadmaps through to operational sustainability. Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization.
