Location: Wiltshire (Melksham, Devizes, Salisbury)

Salary: £53,600, pro rata, per annum

Hours: Part time 22.5 hours per week. Hybrid working - All homes in the area must be visited at least once per week. Driving licence and access to a car required.

Horizon Care & Education are looking for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join us to deliver a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in our care in Salisbury and Melksham in Wiltshire. This is a really exciting position, working with 4 new children's homes, with one of our homes being an assessment home, where we work closely with the children to identify their individual needs.

What you'll get to do:

  • Deliver evidence based therapeutic and psychologically led care which conforms to the standards outlined by the HCPC and BPS under supervision.
  • Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and write psychological reports for children and young people in the care of Horizon Care & Education.
  • Develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic care plans for children and young people in residential care and education.
  • Manage a limited caseload for individual intervention, providing specialist psychological input to young people and teams in residential care and educational settings.
  • Contribute to the development of a therapeutically informed service.
