Senior Software Engineer - AWS Node

We\’re hiring! Korn Ferry is proud to partner with Fitch Ratings to find a passionate and experienced Software Engineer – Application Development to join their dynamic team.

Fitch Ratings is a trusted provider of credit ratings, commentary, and research for global capital markets. As a Senior Software Engineer you play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers our services. You will be self-driven and organised with a passion for building elegant and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain applications and services.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
5. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
2. Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
