I am currently recruiting for a leading Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriting Performance Lead to join their growing team. This position will be working closely with the CUO to manage Underwriting performance across all lines of business within the Syndicate. You will be expected to lead analysis and engagement to deliver tangible results to the business. The role has a significant business partnering aspect with a need to truly understand what is driving the business result.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Performance and working directly with the Group CUO, this senior role is responsible for leading analysis and driving actionable results for the business.
- It involves a strong business partnership, requiring a deep understanding of the factors influencing business outcomes.
- The team is in the process of developing the underwriting performance framework, and this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of processes, as well as managing them once they are in place.

- Insurance expertise, ideally within a range of lines of business.
- Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including business unit CUOs, facilitating constructive discussions and engagement on technical matters.
