This is a remote role within a global team that utilises cutting-edge technology to stay connected with colleagues worldwide. Occasional travel to a local office may be required for in-person collaboration with your team, as well as for company events, team building activities, or strategic meetings.
Being a Channel Partner Marketing Manager at iManage means you will be instrumental in driving the growth of the organisation through strategic partnerships and alliances as well as market reach and expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote products or services through channel partnerships. You will develop a robust partner marketing and alliance network. You will collaborate closely with your marketing colleagues, partner development team, sales and channel partners (such as re-sellers and implementation partners) to enhance brand visibility, extend our reach and drive sales into existing and new customer segments.
The primary focus will be optimising relationships with key strategic partners but also supporting any technology and/or training partner marketing requirements as a secondary function of the role. Sitting at the intersection of our Marketing, Sales and Channels teams, you will bring your experienced channel marketing experience to assess opportunities, learn from our teams and provide recommendations on our Go-To-Market strategies within the network.
Here is what one of our leaders, Global Field Marketing Director, has to say about the role: “This is a huge opportunity to come in to a growing company as well as a marketing department that is evolving into a world-class marketing function. You will bring existing expertise to carve out a new functional area with the goal of it being a massive driver for the business and having long-term impact.”
I am responsible for:
- Developing and Implementing Marketing Plans: Creating comprehensive partner marketing strategies aligned with company and marketing objectives to drive growth and generate partner-qualified opportunities with the channel partner audience. This includes optimising campaign activity, co-marketing planning, co-selling programs, amplification of existing customer activity and generating new partner qualified pipeline.
- Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Sales, and Marketing to identify strategic partnerships and align marketing strategies with key sales plays.
- Managing Marketing Assets: Building and maintaining a library of marketing assets and resources for partners, ensuring they can effectively drive lead generation and partner-led pipeline.
- Overseeing the Partner Marketing Resource Centre: Ensuring it is kept up to date, maintaining governance processes and monitoring and creating a measurement programme to understand its usage and effectiveness.
- Campaign Integration: Ensuring that all channel marketing activity is strategically aligned with, and contributes to, broader campaign objectives. Guiding the integral role this key go-to-market channel plays in the success of all marketing initiatives. Driving a globally consistent approach, tailored to regional needs where necessary.
- Campaign Management: Designing and packaging successful internal campaigns (i.e. ‘Campaigns in a Box’) for partners to use directly or inspire their own campaigns.
- Event Sponsorship: Managing the process of partner sponsorship of iManage events, ensuring benefits are promoted and communication is effective at driving participation and amplification of the events.
- Content Creation: Driving the content pipeline for joint press releases and customer case studies, focusing on advocacy within regions, segments, personas and industries to create a broad spectrum of advocacy.
- Relationship Building: Maintaining regular updates and meetings with channel partners, and partners providing necessary support and resources.
- Marketing Communications: Ensuring consistent communication with partners globally about marketing initiatives, product updates, and events through newsletters, webinars, and other channels.
- Performance Monitoring: Analysing the performance of partner marketing campaigns and MDF-funded activities, ensuring ROI is tracked and monitored.
I am qualified because I have:
- 8-10+ years of experience in Channel marketing, preferably with experience working for a reseller or technology partner.
- Proven experience in SaaS marketing and understanding of how to leverage partner networks for maximum impact.
- Strong Field and Digital marketing skills, with a track record of planning and executing successful campaigns and events.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal teams.
- A comfort working in a global role and considering the regional requirements of partners in different countries with experience in creating and adapting marketing content for different regions and ensuring localisation or translation as needed.
- Ability to analyse marketing performance data internally and create processes to assess partner marketing performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Experience of developing comprehensive partnership and alliances marketing strategy aligned with the company’s and marketing specific goals and objectives.
Bonus points if I have:
- Knowledge of the LegalTech industry.
- Experience working with tools such as Salesforce, Totango, Asana, PRM systems, Marketo and Smartsheet.
