Job Opportunity: Software Control Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Control Engineer to join our clients dynamic team and play a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of software applications for the automation and control of advanced machinery.
In this exciting position, you will:
- Design and develop software for machinery control and automation systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to deliver innovative solutions.
- Lead software development activities throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and laboratory teams to support on-site operations and customer projects.
- Create and maintain supporting documentation such as BoMs, reports, and user guides.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience with LabVIEW and Windows IoT.
- Proven track record of designing control software for machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hardware integration and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, TwinCAT, CANopen preffered).
- Familiarity with PLC, stepper motors, and variable frequency drives is ideal.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, low volume, high-value manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with UI design, schematic design, and CE Marking.
- Familiarity with software tools such as P4V, E3 Electrical Engineering, Sage X3 MRP, and SolidWorks is a plus.
