Our client, a well-respected membership association, is currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Membership Sales/Business Development Manager to join their team on an interim basis.
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B Membership Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Opportunities: The candidate should actively pursue sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, networking/social media platforms like LinkedIn, and CRM.
- Customer Meetings: The candidate should be able to organise and facilitate meetings with potential customers, understand their organisational needs, and identify the most suitable corporate solution. They should also contribute to proposal development and contract negotiation.
- CRM Management: The candidate should proficiently use CRM for managing and tracking leads and opportunities.
- Renewal Tracking: The candidate should monitor renewals and minimise the lapsing of corporate members and sponsors.
- Reporting: The candidate should provide monthly reports to the sales and marketing manager.
- Re-engagement: The candidate should reach out to lapsed corporate members to renew their memberships and identify opportunities for upselling.
- Team Collaboration: The candidate should work in close coordination with the Head of Membership teams to maximise corporate sales and liaise with the Finance team to ensure adherence to the correct invoicing process.
